Join us during the month of November this year as we celebrate Native American Heritage Month. In 1990 President George H.W. Bush signed a joint congressional resolution designating the month of November “National American Indian Heritage Month.” Since then, there has been increasing effort to bring awareness to the complex issues faced by Native Americans and finding ways to bring celebrations of their vast and colorful history and culture into the mainstream.
Follow along with us this month on Facebook and Instagram as we share facts, histories, and highlight stories about important Native Americans throughout our nation’s history.
